If you are not familiar with the Dragon Ball Lore, Goku can seem a lot like any other mega-powered fighter, but there's so much more to him than just that. After digging deep enough, I was quite fascinated to realize that Goku isn'tt just a glorified alien warrior with mega-powers, he has a rich bloodline. And there's much more to it than just Goku, Chi-Chi, Gohan, and Goten.
So, today, I will be uncovering Goku's entire family tree. Some of these characters are totally canonical, though there Will be at least 1 that's a relative though localization I'll also be adding ultra-close friends that are like relatives, just for the hell of it.
Now.. onto Goku's Family Tree.
The Main Branches
First we'll be taking a look at The Main Branches of the Family Tree, which include Goku's Bloodline.
Hick Saiyan Male and Hick Saiyan Female - Bardock's Parents. Not much is known about Goku's Paternal Grandparents, except that they were low-class fighters and people.

Bardock (Original Continuity) - Unlike many on this list, Bardock has 3 main entries, each repping his known Continuities. To keep this list from getting too long, I will be omitting Bardock's Video Games and Dragon Ball Heroes selves
And We're gonna start with the Original Bardock. This version is the dude we see in the Movie "Bardock: Father of Goku" and the Special "Episode of Bardock". He's a harsh warrior/conqueror who gains the ability to sense the future from a dying alien (which he killed). Following the conquest of planet Kanassa led by his team, Bardock begans to see visions of Frieza's plan to destroy planet Vegeta, as well as Goku's future on Earth.
After his son is set to be transported away from their homeworld to Earth, he attempts to prevent the destruction of his species by challenging Frieza in the orbit of planet Vegeta, but is obliterated by Frieza. Before his death, however, Bardock has one final vision of Goku challenging Frieza, and dies smiling knowing his son is destined to avenge their people's annihilation.
However, he actually survived, but was warpped to the distant past of Planet Vegeta, known then as Planet Plant, there he comes in contact with itr's people and into a conflict with Frieza's ancestor, Chilled, and eventually succeeds in achieving the Super Saiyan transformation. After that, this version of Bardock is never seen again.
Gine, Bardock's wife and Goku's mother doesn't exist in this continuity.

Bardock (Modern Continuity) - Modern Bardock's tale is too long to tell and I don't feel like telling it. Here's the gist - During an invasion on Planet Cereal, led by Frieza's army, Bardock was able to rescue the Namekian sage Monaito and a young Cerelian named Granolah. However, he was unable to save Granolah's mother, Muezli, when Elec, the leader of Frieza's former brokers, the Heeters mercilessly shot her on her chest at point blank. Bardock was able to defeat a Heeter named Gas and survive the battle to ensure the safety of Granolah and Monaito.
Then sometime after, months before the destruction of Planet Vegeta, Bardock believes that Frieza is up to something when they receive an order for all Saiyans to return home. Gine, who makes her first series appearance, is convinced by Bardock to send their infant son, Kakarot (who'll become Goku), in a space pod to Earth, a planet far enough away to escape Frieza's interest and one with a native population weak enough to pose no threat to him. This leads to an emotional farewell where Gine implores the departing Goku to not forget them.
Bardock's personality is reinterpreted as a caring father who is no longer apathetic towards his son, and he lacks the unrepentant nature displayed in Bardock – The Father of Goku. It also should be noted that in This continuity, Kakarot/Goku was 3-Years-Old, as apposed to an infant in the Original.

Bardock (Non-Canon) - Nothing known about this guy except that he was an average fighter, but a Brilliant Scientist who developed the Blutz Wave Ball, an energy sphere that can perfectly emulate full-moon light. This version of Bardock is never seen and is only a scientist in the old (and outdated) American Localization.

Bardock's Sibling - There have been persistent rumors of Bardock having either a Brother or a Sister. So far, Goku's Aunt or Uncle have yet to be seen or revealed. And it is unknown if they had any offspring.

Gine's Parents - Nothing is known (or seen) of Goku's Maternal Grandparents. They were likely 3rd or 4th Class Warriors and Foot Soldiers in King Vegeta's army.

Gine - Goku's Mother. Gine is a warm and kind mother who loves her sons deeply. She was a failed warrior and was nearly killed during a tough mission, but Bardock saved her and the 2 fell in love. After failing as a Warrior, Gine got a job serving and cooking meat for King Vegeta's army, mainly Bardock's Team. Gine died along with Planet Vegeta.

Gine's Sibling - Like with Bardock, Gine is rumored to have siblings of her own, though we have no conformation.

Raditz - Gine and Bardock's First-Born and Goku's Older Brother. Not much is known about Raditz's past, except he went on a few missions with Prince Vegeta. Fast forward to Dragon Ball Z, where he served as Goku's very first foe of that era. We all know what happens during Radit's visit to earth, so here's the chase - Raditz proves too strong for Goku and Piccolo alone, so the 2 rivals/enemies team up against the Saiyan. Goku then sacrifices himself to kill his Evil Brother.
After his death, Raditz is rarely mentioned and never seen again. Today, poor Raditz is almost forgotten about.

Goku Son aka Kakarot (Original Continuity) - Born on Planet Vegeta and sent to Earth to take it over. Kakarot was discovered by Gohan Son, a kindly old Martial Arts Master. With no one to take care of the baby, Gohan decided to take him in and rename him 'Goku'. However, Goku was wild and totally uncontrollable, and very tough for Gohan to handle. But that all changed when Little Goku accidentally fell into a ravine and smashed his head. He woud've died if it wasn't for Gohan nursing him back to health.
Soon, Goku became a happy loving boy, with no memory of his past. Once Goku is older, Gohan teaches him the Kame'sennin Style of Martial Arts. Unfortunately, when Goku was 10, he saw the full-moon for the first time and transformed into the Oozaru, a Giant Tailed Chimp and almost killed Gohan. Unfortunately, when Goku transformed again a year later, he accidentally kills Gohan.
Before Gohan died, he gave Goku his 4-Star Dragon Ball as a momento. A Year after that the events of Dragon Ball take place. After that the events of Z and GT take place.
Since we All know what happens in those Sagas, I won't mention them here. Though I may Chronicle the entirty of the Dragon Ball Series at a later date and time.
Please note that in This continuity, Goku came to earth as an infant and the events of Dragon Ball GT takes place, though the events of Dragon Ball Super do not.

Goku Son aka Kakarot (Modern Continuity) - Unlike with Kakarot in the Original Continuity, The Saiyan Child is sent to Earth by his Parents to escape Frieza and the Destruction of Planet Vegeta. So, no being sent to conquer Earth. Also, here, Goku is 3 Years Old instead of being an Infant.
He Bumps his head hard during a crash landing, forgetting both his name and his origins.
Soon, Gohan finds him and they eventually bond, with Gohan renaming the amnesiac Saiyan to Goku.
Gohan teaches Goku Martial Arts, again, the Kame'sennin Style and though Gohan's kindness, Goku becomes a happy loving boy.
However, like with the Original Continuity, Gohan dies by being accidently crushed by his adopted Grandson while the Saiyan Boy is in his Oozaru form.
A year later the events of Dragon Ball take place, then the events of Dragon Ball [Z] Kai, followed by the events of Dragon Ball Daima, and finally the events of Dragon Ball Super.
Dragon Ball GT, doesn't exist in this continuity, instead we get Dragon Ball Super and Daima.
And Like I said, I Might post the Chronicles of the Dragon Ball Sagas in the future. So, look for that.

Chi-Chi Son - Goku's Wife. Goku and Chi-Chi met on a mission to Master Roshi's when they were kids and it wasn't long before Chi Chi fell for the Saiyan, though it was kinda one sided, as when Chi-Chi asked Goku if he would marry her one day, Goku agreed, thinking that Marriage was a slang term for Buffet. oops.
Fast forward to the 23rd Tenkai'ichi Budoukai Tournament where Goku and Chi Chi meet for the first time in years and as opponents. Long story story, Goku, upon learning the True meaning of "Marriage" and a bit enamored by Her fighting Spirit, agrees to marry Chi Chi.
As Mrs. Goku Son, Chi-Chi is mostly a housewife and mother to their 2 sons Gohan and Goten.

Gohan Son II - Goku and Chi-Chi's 1st born son. Named after Goku's adopted Grandfather. Gohan was introduced to us as a crybaby. But after Piccolo trains him, he becomes tougher. Gohan himself has great hidden power that was brought out later in the Series.
Though Goku seems to see this, Chi-Chi doesn't care and wants Gohan to grow up to be either a scientist or a scholar, so she makes him study..a lot. Despite this, Gohan finds ways to get out of his studies and into the action. He even saved the world once too.
In his teen years, Gohan attended high school and grew up to be a great scholar and researcher.

Goten Son - Goku and Chi-Chi's 2nd born son and Gohan's little brother. A happy loving boy who looks just like Goku. Unlike with Gohan, Chi-Chi allows Goten to be a kid and even trained him in Martial Arts.
Goten is best friends with Bulma and Vegeta's son, Trunks and the 2 are evenly matched in battle. They eventually learn the Metomorese Fusion Dance to become Gotenks.

Pan Son (Original Continuity) - The Daughter of Gohan and Videl and the Granddaughter of Goku. A real go getter and by the time of GT, an annoyance, though he means well.
This version of Pan is no longer canon to the Main Continuity.

Pan Son (Modern Continuity) - The Modern Version of Gohan and Videl's Daughter and Goku's Granddaughter.
Pan is a cute little girl who first made her presence known when, as an unborn baby, gave Grandpa Goku some of her Saiyan Energy to allow him to become a Super Saiyan God.
As a toddler, Pan is your average happy loving child. Piccolo even forms a bond with her.

Pan's Son - Nothing yet is known about Pans son, except he's the Father of Goku Jr. He likely died before the events of 'A Heroes Legacy'.

Goku Son Jr. - Grandson of Pan and Great- Great Grandson of Goku. Goku Jr. is the spitting image of his Great-Great Grandfather, though he starts off as a coward.
However, thanks to a dangerous quest, he learns to toughen up and even becomes a Super Saiyan.
Goku Jr. may or may not be canon.

The In-Laws
These guys are all realated to Goku via Marrage.
The Ox King - Chi-Chi's Father and Goku's Father-in-Law.
He's a big ruthless terror, unrepentant and violent.....at least according to the outdated legends.
In reality, Ox is one of the nicest dude around and has trained with Master Roshi when he was a teenager.
After his Daughter and Goku got married he financially supported them for a long while...until the events of Dragon Ball Super, where Goku was forced to get a job.

Chi-Chi's Mother - Not much is known about Chi-Chi's mother, except that she was a kind woman who tragically died in a fire.
Had she lived, she would've been Goku's Mother-in-Law and Maternal Grandma of Gohan and Goten.

Videl Satan - Gohan's Wife and Goku's Daughter-in-Law. Videl first met Gohan during the whole 'Great Saiyaman Saga' and threatened to expose his identity, unless he taught her how to fly and partake in the 25th Tenkai'ichi Budoukai Tournament.
Soon after, the 2 became good friends and eventually Husband and Wife.
Videl is a great fighter and can hold her own against any non-megahuman foe.

Mr. Hercule Satan - Father of Videl and World Martial Arts Champion.
This loud charismatic man is the self professed "Strongest in the World". And the World just eats it up. Anything Mr. Satan tells them, they'll believe.
He has a bit of an ego and he can be cowardly in the face of Megavillains, but deep down, he's a pretty damn good guy. And he breifly saved the World when he befriended Majin Buu.
He later becomes friends with Goku after the Kid Buu Saga.

Miguel Satan (pronounced mid-jell) - Hercule's Late Wife and Videl's Mother. Not much is known about her, except she was a beautiful night club singer and a loving person.

The Surrogates
Unrelated by blood, but related by adoption.
Gohan Son I aka Grandpa Gohan - Goku's Adopted Grandfather. He was trained by Master Roshi in his youth and in his elder years, passed his knowledge of The Kame'sennen Style of Martial Arts to Goku.
Gohan met a tragic end one night when he was crushed by Oozaru Goku, though it was an accident.
Years later, Gohan returned temporarily during the 'Fortuneteller Baba' Saga, where he served as Goku's final opponent in Baba's Tournament.
Gohan was so beloved by Goku, that the Saiyan named his first born son after him.

The Relative-Like Ultra Close Friends
While unrelated to the Son Family, these 3 have such a strong enough bond with them, that they can be considered relative-like.
Bulma - The first girl Goku has ever met and first friend. Though their Adventures, Bulma and Goku developed a strong friendship. Their friendship would eventually grow to the point that their bond became like Brother and Sister.

Krillin - Goku's Best Friend. Krillin trained with Goku under Master Roshi. They started as rivals, but ended up as friends, and then best friends.
By the end of Dragon Ball, the 2 became like Brothers.

Piccolo - Goku's former Enemy, turned Friend And Gohan's Mentor. Piccolo trained Gohan during the 'Saiyan' Saga and eventually sacrificed himself to save the young half-saiyan.
Piccolo has been a good friend, a great ally, and an even greater Surrogate Uncle to Gohan.

Turles / Tulles - Goku's Evil Doppleganger, who used a Tree to drain Earth's resources to grow Super Fruit.
In All localization except for the American and Spanish ones, Turles / Tulles was Goku's Older Cousin.
They aren't related in the Original Japanese version either.

Bonus Round - Relatives of The Bad Future.
It's the Son Family of Future Trunks' Timeline.
Future Goku Son - He Fought against Mecha-Frieza and King Cold on Earth...Then died of an Alien Heart Virus a few years later.
Future Gohan Son - After Goku dies of the Alien Heart Virus, Gohan takes over as Leader of the Z-Fighters. He becomes a Super Saiyan when The Androids 17 and 18 kill the Z-Fighters.
Later, he becomes Trunks' Best Friend and Mentor, training him to fight. Gohan eventually loses his arm, and eventually, his life at the hands of the Androids.
Gohan's death resulted in Trunks becoming a Super Saiyan.

Future Chi-Chi and Future Ox King - After Goku's untimely death, Future Chi-Chi doesn't do much, though she does worry about her Son.
As for Future Ox King, he's just there to give his Daughter emotional support.
