The History of the WWF/WWE (1953 - 2025)

Welcome to Wrestle Fest, where I talk about all things Wrestling. To kick things off, I'm gonna be talking about the History of the WWF/WWE from 1953 to 2025. Yes, I'm O.ly gonna be going as far as this year and I'm not gonna go any further than that.Sorry, but ya gotta stop somewhere.

Anyway, let's get going.

The World Wrestling Federation (now know as World Wrestling Entertainment) is my All-time favorite Wrestling company. Sadly,in recent years, the company has faced a Bunch of near-death experiences, all thanks to the Idiocy of Vincent Kennedy McMahon and TKO. Yes,the man who Saved the WWE,is also the one destroying it. And now the New Owners are the ones killing the brand after a revival.

1953 - The WWE begins life as Capitol Wrestling Corporation, under the leadership of  Jess McMahon and his Son,Vincent J. McMahon. Their 1st event is held.

--------------------------------------------------------------------------------------------------

1954 - Upon His father's death,Vincent J. McMahon takes over the CWC.

-----------------------------------------------------------------------------------------

195X - CWC joins the National Wrestling Allience (NWA).

---------------------------------------------------------------------------------------

1963 - The CWC flrms the World Wide Wrestling Federation (the wwwf) after a despute with the NWA. "Nature Boy" Buddy Rogers becomes the 1st WWWF Champion after leaving the NWA. Bruno Samartino becomes Champion after defeating Rogers soon after - And The Face of the Company. The Golden Era begins.

----------------------------------------------------------------------------------------------------------------------

196X - Vince J. McMahon exits the NWA. WWWF slowly finds success.

----------------------------------------------------------------------------------------------------------------

1970 - The WWWF sells out every show, especially at Madison Square Garden, which would be the company main venue until the late 80's.

-------------------------------------------------------------------------------------------------------

1971 - Vince J. McMahon quietly rejoins the NWA. Vince J. McMahon's Son,Vincent K. McMahon joins the company as a color commentator.

------------------------------------------------------------------------------------------------

1977 - The Golden Era comes to an end when "Superstar" Billy Graham wins the WWWF Championship from Bruno Sammartino. The Silver Era begins soon after.

---------------------------------------------------------------------------------------------------

1978 - Bob Backlund becomes the face of the company after defeating "Superstar" Billy Graham for the WWWF World Title.

-----------------------------------------------------------------------------------------------------

1979 - The WWWF is shortened to the WWF,dropping the 'Wide' from their name. The World Wrestling Federation slowly became the most popular Wrestling Company in Northern America.

-------------------------------------------------------------------------------------------------

1980 - Vincent K. McMahon,forms Titan Sports.

----------------------------------------------------------------------------------------------------

1982 - Vince McMahon Sr. sells the WWF and the CWC to His Son and Titan Sports. The Main Headquarters is moved to Stanford,Connecticut. The Legendary Gorilla Monsoon debuts as a color commentator.

---------------------------------------------------------------------------------------------------------

1983 - WWF leaves the NWA,permanently this time. The WWF soon starts airing wrestling shows in syndication all over the U.S.,angering other promotions.

-----------------------------------------------------------------------------------------------------

1984 - Hulk Hogan becomes WWF Champion in January, beating the Iron Sheik for the Belt. The Hulkamania Era begins, as the Silver Era ends.

In May, to gain a stronger foothold in the South, Vince McMahon buys out most of Georgia Championship Wrestling. This event would be known as "Black Saturday"

Also in May, WWF's Talk Show,Tuesday Night Titans debuts. Late in the year,WWF would team up with the Entertainment industry.

---------------------------------------------------------------------------------------------------------

The show would eventually be hosted long-term by Gorilla Monsoon and Bobby "the Brain" Heenan. In March, WWF's very first Pay-Per-View, WrestleMania, is born.

Soon after, WWF PPV's would become the norm and WrestleMania would become a yearly event.

Due to the low ratings of the shows, Vince McMahon sells his portion of GCW to Jim Crockett Productions.

--------------------------------------------------------------------------------------------------------------------

1986 - WWF did some experimentation with WrestleMania 2 by splitting it into 3 parts, each part being held at different venues (new york, chicago, and los angeles).

In March, the WWF Slammy Awards show is created. The Slammys would become the most sparatic show in WWF History. In September,Tuesday Night Titans ends its run.

--------------------------------------------------------------------------------------------------

--------------------------------------------------------------------------------------

1989 - The 2nd Annual Royal Rumble would officially become a PPV exclusive show, thus become the 4th and final event of WWF's "Big 4" PPVs.

Hulk Hogan became the 1st WWF Superstar to become a Hollywood Celeb.

--------------------------------------------------------------------------------------------

1990 - At WrestleMania 6 in April, The Ultimate Warrior defeated Hulk Hogan to become the WWF Champion, making him the New Face of the Company. The Hulkamania Era was officially over and the Post-Hulkamania Era begins. WrestleMania 6 was also the 1st WWF PPV to be held in Canada.

-------------------------------------------------------------------------------------------------

1992 - In January, Primetime Wrestling changes, yet again, by becoming a Round Table Discussion Show.

The World Bodybuilding Federation shuts down, due to a Steroid Scandal that the WWE and Vince McMahon was allegedly involved in. Mostly thanks to this, many fans decided to abandon the WWF for Rival Promotion, WCW.

In August, WWF takes SummerSlam to the U.K. In October,Bret "Hitman" Hart becomes the WWF Champion - and the Face of the Company.

-------------------------------------------------------------------------------------------------------

1993 - In January, Primetime Wrestling is replaced with Monday Night RAW, which would become the WWF's flagship show going forward.

WrestleMania 9 was the 1st WWF PPV event to take place in an outdoor arena. The WWF creates a 5th annual  PPV, The King of the Ring, in June.

In honor of Andre the Giant, who passed away that year, The WWF Hall of Fame is created and makes the lovable French Giant its First Inductee.

The WWF forms a short-term partnership with the USWA.

Vince McMahon is indicted by the FBI for alleged steroid distribution and was forced to stand trial a year later. (I'll talk more about this another time).

In July, the WWF enters the Post-Hogan Era, when the Hulk Hogan leaves the company. WWE revives it's Women's Division, with Alundra Blayze becoming the New Champion.

-------------------------------------------------------------------------------------------------

1994 - After WrestleMania 10, the WWF enters The New Generation Era.

In July, The McMahon/WWF Steroid Trial Begins. One Month Later,Vince McMahon is acquitted of all charges, but the damage to his company had already been done.

Despite all this, WWF remained strong in '94.

-----------------------------------------------------------------------------------------------------------

1995 - In May, WWE creates In Your House, a PPV that would air in the months that the "Big 4" and the King of the Ring didn't.

In July, Jack Tunney, President of the WWF, stepped down from his position. Gorilla Monsoon was made Interim-President.

In September, WWF's rival, WCW would debut It's Own Monday Night Show, called Monday Nitro. And since WWF was pre-empted, Nitro went unopposed for it's first episode. But, the very next week, RAW returned and the Monday Night War officially began.

Due to Alundra Blayze jumping ship to WCW in December, the WWF retired it's Women's Division, once again.

WWF and WCW would trade wins each week and even tie on a few occasions. WWF would either win against or tie with WCW in the PPV War.

----------------------------------------------------------------------------------------------------

1996 - In March ,Gorilla Monsoon officially becomes the President of the WWF.

In Late-April,the Infamous 'Curtain Call' at MSG happened. In May,thanks to the 'Outsider Invasion' storyline.

WCW, for the first time, defeated the WWF in ratings and would continue to win the Monday Night War until 1998.

In July, WWF is decimated in the PPV buyouts by WCW's Bash at the Beach - Again, thanks to the WCW's 'Outsider Invasion' storyline, which would evolve into the long running nWo Saga. WCW would continue to beat the WWF in PPV buyouts, until January of  '98.

------------------------------------------------------------------------------------------------

1997 - In February, The WWF introduces the European Championship, which the British Bulldog wins.

WWF was getting beat in the Monday Night Wars and needed an edge. So The Night After WrestleMania 13, The New Generation Era ended and a Transitional Era would begin. It was The Road To The Attitude Era or the Pre-Attitude Era.

In April, "Stone Cold" Steve Austin was gaining popularity and would be set up to be the Face of the Next Big Era.

In the Late Spring, WWF RAW would gain a 2nd Hour, called RAW is WAR,a nod to their war with WCW.

After SummerSlam in August, The Attitude Era Officially Began.

In September,Gorilla Monsoon steps down as President of the WWF and the position is abandoned in favor of having a Commissioner instead. Sgt.Slaughter becomes that Commissioner.

In October, WWF held their 1st Hell in a Cell Match, featuring Shawn Michaels and the Undertaker.

The biggest game changer was at the Survivor Series in November, where the Montreal Screwjob took place.

McMahon screwed Bret Hart out of his title and would become one of the most hated men in Wrestling after playing victim. Fans and Wrestlers alike hated him and Needed to see him get his ass kicked Hard!

-----------------------------------------------------------------------------------------------------------

1998 - In what seems like an eternity, The WWF Finally defeats WCW in the PPV War. This victory would lead the WWF to a comeback trail. In Febuary, WWF brings in Mike Tyson to help promote WrestleMania 14.

At WrestleMania 14, "Stone Cold" Steve Austin officially becomes the New Face of the company by winning the WWF Championship. Vince McMahon begins to embrace the hate he's been given and becomes the Evil Mr.McMahon. This leads to 'Austin v McMahon', the biggest feud of the Era.

The WWF would resurrect the Women's Division with Ms. Jaqueline becoming the new WWF Women's Champion.

Sometime later, WWF creates the Hardcore Championship, with Mick Foley being the first Champion.

----------------------------------------------------------------------------------------------------

1999 - Thanks to WCW playing Stupidly and the super popular Mick Foley winning the World Title, the WWF gains a Permanent Upperhand against WCW, in the Monday Night War. (I'll talk more about This another day).

In May, Owen Hart was tragically killed in an accident at Over The Edge. This would lead into a multi-year legal fight with Owen's Widow, Martha Hart. (I'll talk more about this more in depth another time).

WWE retired the Over the Edge PPV soon after Owen's death.

In August, WWF debut it's B-Show, Smackdown! on Thursday Nights.

Titan Sports is renamed World Wrestling Federation Entertainment Inc.  And in October, the WWF would become a publicly traded company.

----------------------------------------------------------------------------------------------

2000 - Vince McMahon would branch out from Wrestling once again with a Football League, the XFL. That falls quickly. At SummerSlam, WWF would debut the Tables, Ladders, and Chairs (TLC) Match, with Edge and Christian, The Hardy's, and the Dudley Boyz taking part.

In September, thanks to a falling out with the USA Network earlier in the Year, The WWF would move RAW to Viacom's TNN (later spike tv).

----------------------------------------------------------------------------------------------------------------

2001 - XFL shuts down, due to extremely low ratings.

In March,WWF buys WCW, Officially ending the Monday Night War. The Attitude Era ends after WrestleMania X7 (17).

In April,WWF buys ECW.

The Post-Attitude Era,another transitional era, begins in the late-spring. This Era was all about WWF v WCW,and then WWF v WCW and ECW.

The Invasion fell short, due to WWF failing to secure the contracts of most of WCW's biggest names, though those names would eventually be hired the following year.

At the WWF PPV,Vengeance, The WCW and WWF titles were unified. Chris Jericho became the first Unified Champion.

---------------------------------------------------------------------------------------------------------------

2002 - In April, the very first Brand Split happens.

In May, thanks to losing a lawsuit by the World Wildlife Fund, the World Wrestling Federation was forced to changed their name to World Wrestling Entertainment (WWE).

In June, The Ruthless Aggression Era was born. Later in the year, the WCW World Championship (aka the Big Gold Belt) returned as the WWE World Heavyweight Championship. Triple H became the 1st holder of this Rebranded Title.

In August, the WWF Hardcore Championship is retired. John Cena becomes the Face of the WWE throughout the Ruthless Aggression Era. The Elimination Chamber match debuts.

--------------------------------------------------------------------------------------------------------------

2003 - WWE would revive WCW's United States Championship the WWE United States Championship.

----------------------------------------------------------------------------

--------------------------------------------------------------------------------------------

2005 - The Money in the Bank Ladder Match is introduced in March.

In September, the WWE and the USA Network make amends and a new TV Deal is signed and in October, WWE programming returned to the USA Network.

---------------------------------------------------------------------------------------------

2006 - In February, due to the death of Eddie Guerrero months prior, WWE reboots it's Wellness Program and goes all in on it.

In May, WWE would resurrect ECW as a 3rd Brand.

--------------------------------------------------------------------------------------

2007 - WWE's Wellness Policy is called in to question once again with the Death of Chris Benoit (which was a double murder-suicide). Because of the Double Murder Suicide by Benoit, the WWE decided to stupidly erase The Canadian Crippler from Everything WWE related - both Past And Present.

----------------------------------------------------------------------------------------------------

2008 - In June, WWE ends the Ruthless Aggression Era and begins the so called "PG" Era. The Divas Championship is introduced in July, with Michelle McCool becoming the inaugural champion.

--------------------------------------------------------------------------------------------

2010 - In February, WWE's ECW ends And NXT begins...but not as a full-on wrestling show. (I'll talk more about NXT another day and time).

In September, The Divas Championship would be unified with the Women's Championship, and renamed the Unified Divas Title, with the "Unified" being dropped soon after the unification.

-----------------------------------------------------------------------------------------

2012 - In February, WWE launched their Youtube Channel. NXT becomes a Wrestling Show. And in July, RAW became a 3-Hour Show.

-------------------------------------------------------------------------------------

2013 - Daniel Bryan starts to gain popularity, and by the summer, becomes the most popular Babyface in WWE.

In December, The WWE unifies both the WWE and World Heavyweight Titles, with Randy Orton defeating John Cena for the Gold.

-----------------------------------------------------------------------------------------------

2014 - In February, The WWE Network, WWE's first official streaming service, is created. Soon WWE 24/7 would be shut down.

In March, WWE Enters the Reality Era aka the Universe Era. WWE soon gets official accounts on various social platforms, such as Facebook and Twitter.

At WrestleMana 30, Daniel Brian becomes the New WWE Unified World Champion, beating both Batista and Randy Orton in a Triple Threat Match.

The Unified WWE World Championship would get a new (and inferior) design after SummerSlam, when the 2 Belts become 1.

----------------------------------------------------------------------------------------------------

2015 - In January, Roman Reigns was being primed to be the New Face of the Company, much to the annoyance of the fans, who still considered Daniel Brian to be the Face of the Company.

Thanks to the Hashtag 'Give Diva's A Chance' WWE creates The Women's Revolution Revolution.with A.J. Lee as it's leader.

Due to a series of terrible booking and creative decisions, the WWE would face some disarray. These issues would continue to today. In November,Roman Reigns officially became the Face of the WWE by Winning the WWE World Title.

-------------------------------------------------------------------------------------

2016 - In May, A New, Unnamed, Era begins and things would only get worse for the WWE from here on in.

At WrestleMania 32, The Divas is retired in favor of a Brand New (and dumb looking) Women's Championship.

Sometime during the year,The spirit of the WWF quietly infused itself within NXT, turning the brand into the reincarnation of the WWF.

In July, WWE extends it's brand split with a new RAW exclusive title - The Universal Title.

In August, the WWE Smackdown Tag Team Championships and the Smackdown Women's Championship are introduced. Smackdown would be renamed to Smackdown Live! and would be moved to Tuesday Nights.

And in October, Sasha Banks and Charlotte Flair did battle in the 1st Ever Women's Hell in a Cell Match.

In November,WWE created its own Cruiserweight show, 202 Live. And in December, NXT UK was created.

Despite all this, the bad booking on the Main Roster got worse and worse.

------------------------------------------------------------------------------------------------------------------------

2017 - WWE's Woes would continue with the crowning of Part-Timers as Champions, first with Goldberg, then with Brock Lesnar. It was even Worse with Lesnar, as he wasn't required to defend his title often, only on the Big 4 PPVs.

In June, WWE introduces it's very first Women's Money in the Bank.

The bad booking continued throughout the year and recovery seemed like a fantasy. As usual, NXT was the Only positive.

------------------------------------------------------------------------------------------------------------

2018 - In January, WWE introduces it's very first Women's Royal Rumble, which was won by Asuka.

In March, NXT introduced its North American Championship, first held by Adam Cole (Bay-Bay!)

In April, The WWE forges a (Horrible!) Multi-Year deal with Saudi Arabia, resulting in bi-yearly PPVs held in that country.

In October, WWE aired it's first ever All-Women's PPV, WWE Evolution.

In December, WWE introduced the Women's Tag Team Championships, with Sasha and Bayley becoming the 1st Title Holders.

Despite all of these milestones, there was no escaping the sense of Doom. NXT, on the other hand, continued to be great.

-------------------------------------------------------------------------------------------------------------

2019 - In January, Kofi Kingston gains great favor from the fans, and soon, KofiMania is born. And at WrestleMania 35,Kofi wins the the WWF Championship.

In May,WWE introduces the 24/7 championship, with R-Truth winning it first.

In August, NXT became a 2-hour show.

In October, Smackdown Live! moved to Fox and became a Friday Night show.

The most devastating event, however, came when Part-Timer Brock Lesnar defeated Kofi Kingston for his WWE Championship in mere seconds.

This prompted the (proverbial) Hand Of Destruction to appear, stalking the WWE wherever they went, waiting to deliver it's 'Fingerpoke of Doom'. Vince McMahon had damned this Company.

NXT, however, didn't have this problem. Though unfortunately if the WWE died, NXT would die with it, even if the brand was healthy.

--------------------------------------------------------------------------------------------------------------

2020 - WrestleMania 36 became the 1st 2-Night Event in WWE history and, thanks to Covid-CCP, was also the first WWE show with no fans.

The WWE continue to hold Empty Arena events until August, when the Thunderdome was introduced.

The Thunderdome was a bio-secure arena with a virtual crowd. Fans would attend virtually from home and provide a weak substitute for Fans in the Arena.

NXT would move to the Capital Wrestling Center later in the Year, and would continue to thrive.

Thought the year, Vince McMahon would either fire Wrestlers (many of them good ones) or force them to quit the company. Because of these unfair firings and mistreatment of talent, as well as the constant crap booking on the Main Roster, The Hand of Destruction would strike with its 'Fingerpoke of Doom' in November.

Thanks to the 'Fingerpoke of Doom',WWE would enter another new era, The Doomsday Era. The countdown to WWE's destruction began, with NXT keeping the count slow. Without NXT, the Countdown would've been much quicker.

------------------------------------------------------------------------------------------------------------

2021 - In March, the NXT Women's Tag Team Championships are introduced, with Dakoda Kai and Raquel Gonzales as the inaugural title holders.

Also in March, the WWE would make Another stupid mistake by selling their U.S. Streaming Rights to Peacock,a Comcast-owned Streaming Service. Peacock would censor a lot of WWE's archived content.

More unfair firings would occur thought the year. NXT moves to Tuesday Nights from Wednesday Nights. Meanwhile, the countdown to WWE's end continues.

In September, Vince McMahon takes over NXT and things only go downhill from there. NXT is rebranded as NXT 2.0 and is given a new look. This re-imagining turns NXT into just another carbon copy of RAW and Smackdown (i.e. mediocre). So in a matter of weeks,Vince McMahon turned the Best Wrestling Show on TV into a Mediocre Mess.

NXT no longer felt like the Reincarnation of the WWF and Vince McMahon was to Blame.

And as usual,WWE continued their mistreatment of talent, as well as the Fans. In October, NXT got worse and the Spirit of the WWF departed for the Great Beyond.

In November, 18 great Superstars were unfairly fired. The Fans have had enough and the Reaper had seen enough.

The release of 18 great talents, coupled with the mistreatment and mismanagement of Superstars, the terrible direction of the Main Roster, and the complete bastardization of NXT was enough to kill the WWE.

WWE Is Dead! Now existing as a Zombified version of it's former self! Welcome to the Post-Doomsday Era.
------------------------------------------------------------------
 .
2022 - The Post-Doomsday Era Continues, WWE is an undead company at this point. But...there was some hope for a Resurrection in the coming months.

In June, amidst an investigation by WWE's Board of Directors into reported hush money paid to a former employee by Vince McMahon following an affair, Mr. McMahon stepped down as chairman and CEO of WWE, but he was Still in charge of creative. Stephanie McMahon, would become the interim chairwoman of WWE.

A short time later, Vince McMahon officially retired, Following Vince's retirement, Stephanie McMahon was officially named chairwoman while she and Nick Khan were named co-CEOs of WWE. Triple H would take over as head of creative, while resuming his position as Executive Vice President of Talent Relations and later being promoted to Chief Content Officer.

With Vince retired, and with Triple H fully in charge of the creative, the WWE would experience a revival. This was the beginning of a New Era - The Ressurection Era!!

SummerSlam was the first WWE pay-per-view event to be held under the leadership of Stephanie McMahon and Triple H.

In August ,Shawn Michaels was promoted to WWE Vice President of Talent Development Creative And eventually Boss of NXT. In September,,WWE made Triple H, Chief Content Officer.

Sometime in the year, NXT 2.0 would be gone forever and turn back into the NXT that we all knew and loved.

In November, The War Games match would be moved from NXT to the Survivor Series. And would be a staple match for the event going forward.
===========================================================

2023 - In January, Vince McMahon announced his return to the company ahead of media rights negotiations, with the intention on selling the company.

WWE's previous media rights deals with Fox and USA Network were to expire in 2024. Later that month, Stephanie McMahon resigned as Chairwoman and co-CEO, also on the same day Vince McMahon re-assumed the role of executive Chairman of WWE, while Nick Khan became the sole CEO. That same month.

JPMorgan were hired to handle the sale of the company, with rumored suitors being various media companies

With McMahon back, the WWE would begin to suffer once more.

In April, WWE and Endeavor reached a deal for the WWE to merge with UFC parent company, Zuffa ,to form a new company, TKO Group Holdings.

Shane McMahon had attempted to purchase the UFC multiple times during the 2000s, but Vince talked him out of doing so. Endeavor would receive a 51% stake in "TKO", while WWE's shareholders would get a 49% stake.  This would mark the first time that WWE would not be majority-controlled by the McMahon family.

Vince McMahon would serve as executive chairman, with Endeavor CEO, Ari Emanuel becoming CEO, and Mark Shapiro as president and chief operating officer.

Triple H would remain in his role as Head of Creative, And Nick Khan would become president of WWE post-merger, similar to Dana White's role as president of UFC.

The deal additionally granted McMahon life tenure as executive chairman, the right to nominate five WWE representatives on the 11 member board, as well as veto rights over certain actions by the new company; eventually, the TKO board of directors would increase from 11 members to 13 members.

In addition, McMahon would own 34% of the new company, with a 16% voting interest. Despite the merger, the two promotions, WWE and the UFC, would continue to run as separate divisions of the newly merged company

With Vince McMahon back in control, a New Dark Era was forming, and WWE, despite a recent revival, looked like it was going to die once again. The WWE's Ressurection was becoming short lived.

The merger was finalized in September. The first television show produced under the TKO banner was WWE NXT.  Emanuel also held influence over the company and the company's broadcast deals.

Things were slowly turning into a Landfill and it seemed like Vince McMahon's Twisted Reign would continue until the day he was sent to Hell.

But then...a miracle happened the following year

==========================================================

2024 - In January 2024, a lawsuit was filed by a woman named Janel Grant, who accused Vince McMahon, along with John Laurinaitis and a WWE wrestler who was also a former UFC fighter of sexually trafficking her and repeatedly sexually assaulted her during 2020–2021. Grant alleged that she was subjected to "extreme cruelty and degradation" by McMahon, including being defecated upon during a sexual encounter.

One day after the report of the claims, Vince McMahon resigned from TKO. In a statement, McMahon said the decision was made "out of respect for the WWE Universe, the extraordinary TKO business and its board members and shareholders, partners and constituents, and all of the employees"

With Vince (hopefully) Gone from WWE forever, the Ball is Mostly in Triple H's court. With Triple H in charge, WWE was slowly reviving. The Revival Era had Begun. Though just a transitional era, The Revival Era will prove to be an important one.

In February, WWE and Netflix made a multi-year deal to air WWE RAW. The week after, the USA Network would secure the rights to Smackdown. NXT would gain a new home on The CW.

RAW's move to Netflix and Smackdown's move back to the USA Network would begin in January of 2025 and the Fall of 2024 respectively. NXT's move to The CW would also take place in the Fall of 2024.

-------------------------------------------------------------------------------

2025 - The TKO board, with some minor doings by Nick Khan, would sabotage Triple H's success and force the COO to make decisions that he didn't want to make. So, thanks to the unfair firings continuing, the constant Involvement by Stupid-Ass Celebrities, and the Bad Booking on the Main Roster, the WWE returned to it's Dark Days.

Thanks TKO, You Rotten Bastards!!!

=======================================================

And thus ends the WWE Timeline (for me, at least). I don't intend on continuing this, so don't bother looking for a continuation. Cut-Off Point!!

I'm done with the WWE and Modern American Wrestling as a whole. I'll just stick with either the Old School Stuff or Playthroughs of the Video Games.

And, That's all I have to say about this. So until next time,Punch a Nazi, Kick a Commie, Resist Modern Attitudes, and Stay Gold!

Comparing Versions - Super Nintendo and NES v. Sega Genesis

Welcome to Gaming in the 80s and 90s, where I talk about All things gaming from the 80s and 90s.  For the debut episode, we will be taking a shallow dive into 2 / 3 different versions of the same game for the NES, the Super NES and the Sega Genesis (...and it's add-ons, too). If I feel like it, I'll do another one of these comparing other Console Versions.

Now, As everyone knows, in the 90's Nintendo of America and Sega of America were embroiled in a nasty Console War (which, I'll talk about another time). During that war, many of the same game were released for both Nintendo and Sega consoles. So, today, I'm gonna compare those versions.

Note: I'm only gonna be comparing the game versions that I'm familiar with. So if I missed comparing 2 games, that was on purpose.

Tetris -  NES v. Genesis

The NES Version of Tertis is original, built from the ground up, While the Genesis version is a faithful recreation of the Arcade. Despite this, the NES version had better controls and has cameos from Nintendo's All-Star Cast. The only bad thing about the NES port is that it's only Single Player, unlike the Genesis port.

Best Version: The NES (because it controls better).

------------------------------------------------------------------------------------------------

Ghostbusters - NES v. Genesis

The NES Ghostbusters is crap. With bad sound and music, worse controls, lame gameplay, and an even lamer graphics. the ending kinda sucks too.

The Genesis Version, on the other hand, is much better. Sure, Winston Zedmore is absent and the game is hard as hell, but it completely destroys the NES game effortlessly by being what That game Wasn't.

Ghostbusters for the Genesis has way better graphics and sound, the music is great, the gameplay is good. Yeah, the ending is basic, but it's So Much Better than the NES Version.

Best Version: The Genesis (obviously!)

------------------------------------------------------------------------------------------------------

Double Dragon - NES v. Genesis

The NES version of this Arcade classic was rebuilt from the ground up. While this version contains every stage from the Arcade Original, it lacks a 2-player Co-Op mode. And the Only time 2-Players can play is though the Vs. Mode. Also, because the removal of the traditional 2-player mode, the story was changed a bit by having Jimmy Lee (player 2) as the Final Boss. Still, despite all of it's flaws, Double Dragon for the NES is an iconic game and worth playing.

The Genesis Version, on the other hand, is a near perfect conversion of the Arcade, so there's that.

Best Version: The Genesis (for arcade accuracy) or The NES (for being iconic)

------------------------------------------------------------------------------------------

Double Dragon II - NES v. Genesis

Double Dragon II for the NES Is The Best Double Dragon Game. Period. Like with it's predecessor, this game was built from the ground up, but unlike it's predecessor, the 2-player co-op mode remains intact. Also, This version has a brand new Final Boss, never seen in the Arcade original.

The Genesis version of Double Dragon II was not that iconic and Was one of the Worst selling games in the series, mainly because it was a Japanese exclusive and the Genesis was never that popular in Japan. However, it Was Arcade accurate, unlike the NES version. So there's that.

Bottom line, the NES game is the better experience, despite it not being anything like the Arcade original.

Best Version: The NES

-----------------------------------------------------------------------------------------------

Strider - NES v. Genesis.

Strider for the NES is loosely based on Capcom's Arcade classic..except it was converted into a completely original adventure. Hard as hell, but original.

The Genesis Version, on the other hand, is a mostly faithful port of the Arcade. So if you want the Arcade experience, the Genesis version is for you.

Best Version: The Genesis (for arcade accuracy) or The NES (for an original adventure)

----------------------------------------------------------------------------------------

Final Fight - SNES v. Sega CD

Final Fight on the SNES is Arcade accurate, gameplay, graphics and sound-wise.  But that's all this port has going for it. Due to cart imitations at the time, Capcom was forced to cut 3 major things from this port - The Industrial Stage, it's Boss, Rolento, and the 3rd playable character, Guy. Still a good game though, just not fully Arcade accurate.

The Sega CD version is a bit slower, But has Everything from the Arcade original, plus a remastered soundtrack. It also offers more modes of play too. The Sega CD sucks, but there's no denying which port is superior.

Best Version: The Sega CD

-------------------------------------------------------------------------------

Street Fighter II - Turbo v. Street Fighter II - Special Champion Edition

Street Fighter II - Turbo and Street Fighter II - Special Champion Edition were ports of Street Fighter II - Hyper Fighting for the Arcade, but with added modes of play. While the SNES game is graphically better and has slightly better sound and music, the Genesis game can be played at Ludicrous Speed.

Gameplay-wise, both games are equally great.

So, Which version is best depends on how you prefer your game.

Best Version: The SNES (for a more iconic and traditional experience) or The Genesis (for playing the game with blast processing).

----------------------------------------------------------------------------------------

Mortal Kombat -  SNES v. Genesis v. Sega CD.

When Mortal Kombat was ported to the Home Consoles, Nin - Screw This, I'll tell this story another day and time.

The SNES version looked like and sounded like the Arcade original, but suffered Gameplay-wise due to censorship. The Genesis version, however, looked very little like the Arcade, but was better gameplay-wise. And didn't suffer from total censorship. Plus, the game was a bit faster too.

The Sega CD port is an enhanced version of the Genesis game, but slower. Seriously, the loading times were crap.

Best Version: The Genesis (for obvious reasons)

------------------------------------------------------------------------------

Mortal Kombat II - SNES. v. Genesis v. 32X.

The SNES Version of Mortal Kombat II is the most Arcade accurate of the 3. The Genesis version is slightly faster and has cheat codes. The 32X version is just an enhanced port of the Genesis version.

Best Version: The SNES

----------------------------------------------------------------------

Mortal Kombat 3 - SNES v. Genesis

Again The SNES version is more Arcade accurate and the Genesis version is slightly faster (though a bit grainy here). Plus, Both games have cheat codes, so that's always awesome. As to which version is best? Again, the SNES wins.

Best Version: The SNES

---------------------------------------------------------------------------

WWF Super WrestleMania - SNES v. Genesis

SNES is graphically and sound superior. And has more Superstars. The Genesis version has less, But Does include each Superstars finishers.

Also worth noting that each game has it's own unique roster.

Best Version: The SNES (for the graphics and sound) or The Genesis (for the superstar finishers)

----------------------------------------------------------------

WWF Royal Rumble - SNES v. Genesis.

Again graphics and sound are the strength of the SNES version. While speed is the strength of the Genesis. Both games have the Superstars Finishing moves.

And, like with Super Wrestlemania, each version has their own roster.

Best Version: The SNES

------------------------------------------------------------------

WWF RAW - SNES v. Genesis v. 32X

Same deal with the Royal Rumble, as both that game and this one were built on the same engine. But, unlike with the previous WWF games, RAW has the same roster for All versions. Though, the 32X port has 2 things that the SNES and the Genesis versions don't have - Lex Luget's actual theme music and Kwang as a secret character.

Other than these, the 32X version is an enhanced port of the Sega Genesis.

Best Version: SNES

------------------------------------------------------------------

WWF WrestleMania: The Arcade Game - SNES v. Genesis. v. 32X

For the Super Nintendo port of this Arcade hit, The Devs got lazy and cut Yokozuna and Bam Bam Bigelow from the roster. Other than that it's a graphically better game with greater sound.

The Genesis Version, however is slightly inferior in the graphics and sound department, But has the full roster and is faster.

The 32X version is just a slightly enhanced port of the Genesis game.

Best Version: The Genesis

-------------------------------------------------------------------------------

Mighty Morphin' Power Rangers - SNES v. Genesis v. Sega CD

Mighty Morphin' Power Rangers for the SNES was a side-scrolling beat'em-up/platformer.

The Genesis version was a fighting game.

The SNES game lacked the Green Ranger and Dragonzord, but had an excellent soundtrack

The Genesis Version lacks a high quality soundtrack and is too short for it's own good. But, Does have the Green Ranger and Dragonzord and slightly better graphics. Plus More Zord Battles and even a Vs. Mode. And of course, the game is faster.

The Sega CD version is an FMV movie game. so Screw It.

Best Version: The Genesis (gameplay-wise, anyway).

----------------------------------------------------------------------

Mighty Morphin' Power Rangers: The Movie - SNES v. Genesis

The SNES version of Mighty Morphin' Power Rangers: The Movie is similar in style to the previous game, except you can Morph anytime during the stage if your "Morphin' Meter" is fully charged. Plus you can move up and down with the shoulder buttons. The Soundtrack is top notch and is a blast to listen to.

The Genesis Version is a Beat'em-Up similar to Streets of Rage. Gameplay wise, this game is superior and features music from the show. Plus, unlike with the SNES game, The Genesis version Actually has Zord Battles.

Best Version: The Genesis (gameplay-wise, anyway)

------------------------------------------------------------------------------

Super Street Fighter II - SNES. v. Genesis.

Both versions are identical, but while the SNES version has slightly better graphics and sound, the Genesis version is faster and has one or 2 more voice samples.

Best Version: Tie

----------------------------------------------------------------------------------------

Ultimate Mortal Kombat 3  - SNES v. Genesis

Same deal as with Vanilla MK3, more or less

Best Version: The SNES

----------------------------------------------------------------------------

Shaq-Fu - SNES v. Genesis.

Despite having better graphics and sound, the SNES version of Shaq-Fu is inferior, with it's slower gameplay, not-so great controls, and the lack of the full roster. Plus the story mode lacks a bunch of stages, thanks to not having all 12 characters.

Genesis version, on the other hand, Has the full roster, every stage, slightly better controls, faster gameplay, and a fleshed out story mode.

Best Version: The Genesis (obviously!)

--------------------------------------------------------------------

Kirby's Avalanche v. Dr. Robotnik's Mean Bean Machine (Bonus!!!)

Both games are western conversions of Puyo Puyo, a Japanese puzzle game.  While, Kirby's Avalance has better graphics and sound, Dr. Robotnik's Mean Bean Machine is a bit faster and is more Iconic.

Best Version: The Genesis.

And That's about it, for now. I Really hope you enjoyed these comparisons. stay tuned for more fun content. Until then, Punch a Nazi, Kick a Commie, Resist Modern Attitudes and Stay Gold.

Policing

For this edition of Simple Solutions, I'm gonna be tackling another Controversial topic - Policing!! It's something that has been considered an "iffy" thing as of late where many Americans don't trust the Cops anymore. And Yes, there Are Bad Cops out there, there are also more Good Ones. People tend to forget about that fact due to the Mainstream Media and our Garbage Education System.

I, Myself, am a strong supporter of our Men and Women in Blue, but will call out the Bad Cops when they rear their ugly heads.

Well, I have put together a simple 5-Point Grand Plan for Police. And this can be applied to All Police Departments around the Country.

#1 - Re-Fund the Police and have the various Local Departments use the funds to make Reforms.

#2 - Standard and Thorough Testing for All wannabe Cops to make sure the Person is Qualified to be a Cop.

#3 - A 3 strike rule for all Current Cops, who do a Not-So Good job or even a Bad One. If they get all 3 strikes, they'll be Fired. Same goes for any Future Cops too.

#4 - Organize each State Police Forces into Units. And have them use the Appropriate Unit for the Appropriate Situation.

As for the Units themselves, there would be the Heroes Unit (for search and rescue), Domestic Unit (that handles domestic stuff), the Justice Unit (which handles basic crimes, such as theft, grand theft, public assault, bank robberies. murder. etc.), the Captain Planet Unit (which will be dedicated to fighting local polluters and litterbugs), the Beat Unit (for basic patrol and human relations/interaction), The Gang Unit (which will handle basic gang-related activity) and The War Unit (which will handle the most extreme criminals like cartels and mega gangs).

And #5 - Have each Department Establish a Good Working and Personal Relationship between the Cops and the People.

And that's how, I'd reform Policing in America. Now that the Political Stuff is done (for a while, at least) I can Finally get to the Fun Stuff.

So, until Next Time, guys, Punch a Nazi, Kick a Commie, Resist Modern Attitudes and Stay Gold.

The Education Plan

The Teachers Union has done Nothing but decimate Public Education with Leftist, out of touch, ideals and protecting the horrible teachers, whom are in reality Indoctrinators,. While constantly looking down upon, ,or outright ignoring, the very few Good Educators. And on top of that, but they have majority creative control over All Public School Curriculum. They are also Greedy and don't care What kind of damage they do, as long as they get paid. The Unions answer to the Far-Left, who Are their Biggest Financial Supporters. They help Indoctrinate America's Youth into being Leftist Stooges and the Unions get the Cash.

It's Disgusting!!!!  Not to mention that because of these Unions, Our Youth are now more uneducated than ever, with lower test scores and diplomas given out to those who are unqualified to graduate. And Even Worse, they Push Perverse Sexual Crap on our Children and call it "Progressive Sex Ed".

Thankfully, I have a 9-Part Plan to replace those Rotten Teacher's Unions, with something Way Better.

#1 - Defund The Teachers Unions until they are Broke. This includes stripping them of All Federal and Local funding.

#2 - Abolish The Teachers Unions once they are weak enough. Then replace them with a Specialized State Education Committee.

#3 - Establish a State Education Committee though the Education Department (both federal and state), which will be have Chapters in every District.

#4 - Pay reset for All Teachers after the Education Committee is set up.

#5 -  The Committee will evaluate Teachers, Deans, and Principals every 3 months. If the Educator is doing well, they'll get Paid Well. If the Educator is Not doing Well, they will Not be Payed Well, but will be Encouraged to do better.

Or is the Educator is an outright Indoctrinater, they Will be instantly fired. There will also be a Strong Vetting Process, so that no New Indocrinaters are hired. Yeah, the Committee will also be in charge of hiring too. Get Paid What You're Worth.

#6 - I'd make sure that All Subjects (especially American History and Sex Education) are taught Properly. And that CRT (critical race theory) and Progressive Gender Studies are abolished. CRT is mostly just Anti-White, Anti-American bigotry anyway. And The Progressive Gender Studies are just Stupid and Ridiculous (there are only 2 genders and 3 sexualities not a hundred, as these studies teach). And Marxism, Communism, and Socialism will never be taught as a good thing.

#7 - Make Tuition more affordable. Haven't really given this too much thought, But, I'll come up with something eventually. I always do.

#8 - I'd have All School Security be armored and equipped with handguns (not to mention be fully trained). That way, School Shooters won't stand a chance.

And #9 - Keep Homeschooing and Private Schooling as available options...and make them more affordable. How? Again, I'll get to that eventually.

With this plan, Test Scores will be up and the Youth of America will be way better Educated.

And that's about it. The next and Final Political edition of Simple Solutions (for now, at least), will be on Policing. See you there.

Immigration Plan

Before I get into the fun stuff on this blog, I Really wanna get some of the more Political Stuff out of the way first. So, when I've started this blog, I intended it to be a fresh start for me as a Blogger and one of the things I wanted to do is offer various simple solutions to America's problems, as well as other problems.  .

For this post,I'm gonna be tackling a topic that's been a bit on the controversial side - Immigration. Now, our Politicians s have decided to make this issue (among a crap ton of others) a very complicated one. But that's why I'm doing this, to deliver simple solutions to these problems. I promise not All Simple Solutions will be about Politics. In fact, I wanna limit the politics as much as I can on this blog.

Anywhoo, here is my 5-point Immigration Plan.

#1 - Secure The Boarder. This is important. A secure boarder  means a Safer Country.

#2 - A Very Important Step.  Vet All who come here thoroughly. Boarder patrol will take them to Special Centers (which i'd create), where each Migrant will be vetted. Those who pass, will get Green Cards. Those who fail, will either be Deported or Jailed, depending on their criminal record

#3 - Give Limited Rights for all Green Card Holders Until they become American Citizens. However, they will Still be eligible for Fair Housing, Jobs, Education, Jail Time for committing any Crimes, Pay Taxes, Get a Low-Tier Lawyer, and Means to Support Themselves and their Family. They will Not, However, be able to get Drivers Licenses, Vote, Run for Office, Own a Gun, Join or Create a Union, Serve in The Military, And Get a Mid-Tier or High Tier Lawyer.

Though, to be fair, the Green Card I'd issue will have no expiration date and the Migrant can become an American Citizen at any time...once they pass a Test.

#4 - I'd make it  Much Simpler to become a Citizen...as simple as getting a Drivers License. In fact, I'd establish DMV-like places all over the U.S., so that these Migrants can get, what I call, American Citizenship Licenses, which will make them Official Americans.

Now, once there, each Migrant will need to take a Test and I'd be required for the Migrant to know and speak the English Language to take the Teat. If they can't or won't than they won't be able to take the test and become Americans until they do.

Once they take the Test, their answers will be evaluated. If they pass the test, they will get their American Citizenship License and become Americans. And the best part is...These Licenses Never Expire. Once the Migrant becomes a Citizen, they will be added into a special Government Database, where it will identify the Migrant as an Official American.

However, should they fail, they will need to take the test again in a Years Time.

And #5 - Once the Migrants become Americans, they are Granted the Full Rights.

And that is my plan for immigration. Waaaaay Better than Anything Our Stupid and Evil Politicians can come up with.

Next up, Education and Law Enforcement.

See you then.

Simple Solutions - The Iran Conflict

On this premiere edition of Simple Solutions, I'm gonna tell the World, how I'd deal with the current conflict with Iran.

Y'see, this weekend, The U.S. (stupidly) got involved with Israel's war with Iran by bombing the hell out of the Islamic Regime's Nuke sights in a quick stealth mission. On one hand, we needed to help Israel, because If Iran nuked the Jewish State, their next target Would be the United States, as they vowed.

But, on the other hand, things Could've been handled differently. I'd've just sanctioned the crap out of the Islamo-Extremists, as Israel bombs the hell out of them. That way, America could Still support Israel, while Not getting into Another Foreign War.

But, since we've already bombed Iran and are involved in this conflict. I have a solution to the follow-up. Instead of Striking Iran Again, Trump should just enact the most Extreme Sanctions on the Terrorist State. That way, Iran won't Have Enough money for Weapons and Ammo. Instead, they'd be Forced to use what little money they have on their People.

Much better than more bombings from us.(we'll let Israel handle that). Sadly, out Leaders Always want to do things the complicated (and, frankly, stupid) way, so they likely won't listen to my advice. Which is a shame. Pray that Trump makes the right decision and last Saturday's bombing will be the Only time we do that.

I, however, have just came up with a Simple Solution to keep America out of More Wars!

And that's gonna wrap this 1st installment of Simple Solutions. Next up, I'll be tackling Immigration.

See ya, there.
